Akzija spokuty sarady myru is an non-governmental and non-profit. The organization promote voluntary work to youth in Ukraine, coordinate volunteers from different countries in Ukraine since 2004 and sent volunteers from Ukraine to other European countries.
Aktion West-Ost itself is active in the field of international youth work and is also the umbrella organisation of four Catholic youth associations in Germany: Adalbertus-Jugend, Gemeinschaft Junges Ermland, Junge Aktion der Ackermann-Gemeinde and Junge Grafschaft. Young people from these organisations and their partners abroad organise international projects for others their age. We meet people from Central and Eastern Europe, discuss and experience topics relevant to politics, European integration, the environment and society in general – and in doing so get to know each other’s language and culture.
